My mother recieved a Billy Joel album from my Uncle for Christmas…. This was my introduction to music and my favorite artist, Billy Joel.

Started Elementary School at Dublin Elementary in White Lake / Union Lake, Michigan

June 1998
Graduated High School from Walled Lake Central High School in Walled Lake, Michigan.

August 1998
Attended 1 year at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI

December 1998
Began working with Kalamazoo MI band Knee Deep Shag.. the first band I ever worked with.

February 14, 2000
Moved to Orlando FL and began attending Full Sail.

October 20, 2000
First saw Gainesville FL band Big Sky, whom 3 1/2 years later, would go on to work with and manage.

December 2000
Began working with Billy Joel drummer Liberty DeVitto.

July 3, 2001
Graduated from Full Sail with a degree in Recording Arts.

July 5, 2001
Started work for Columbia Records / Sony Music doing Marketing and later Graphic Design.

December 2002
Moved to Atlanta GA and began working full time for Sony Music.

May 2003
Began working for Gainesville FL band Big Sky.

Was laid off from Sony Music.

Big Sky disbands.

Had Gastric Bypass Surgery (Fobi Pouch) in Atlanta, GA.

May 6 , 2005
Hired by former Big Sky bassist Ashton Allen to be his Tour Manager

July 7, 2005
Embarked on a 100+ date tour with Ashton Allen.

September 27 , 2005
Ashton Allen’s “Dewdrops” CD was released.

October 31, 2005
Have lost 142 pounds to date… weighing 185 pounds.

December, 2005
Began recording sessions with Brian Kuzma. Recorded track “Letting Go.”

January 2, 2006
Started dating my amazing girlfriend Jenny.

April, 2006
Began working with Brian Vander Ark (The Verve Pipe) on the launch of his album “Angel, Put Your Face On.”

June 1, 2006
Illness forces me off of the Ashton Allen tour for the remainder of June.

June 8, 2006
Had emergency surgery to have gall bladder removed.

August 11, 2006
I joined Ashton Allen and his band for the final week of pre-tour rehearsal.

August 17, 2006
Embark on a 5 week full band tour with Ashton Allen.

September 12, 2006
Begin writing “Calendar Year” (later named “On The Outside Again”) for my debut album.

September 23, 2006
Ashton Allen tour wraps up in Holland, MI.

October 24, 2006
Taj Mahal Trio tour starts in Burlington, VT

December 3, 2006
Taj Mahal Trio tour wraps in Oakland, CA

June 8, 2007
September On debut performance at TC’s Speakeasy in Ypsilanti, MI.

Begin recording SEPTEMBER ON debut album..

Jenny Powell & I get engaged to be married!

September On shares the stage with The Verve Pipe at Small Planet in E. Lansing, MI!
