05/08/06 – Tour Update – Indian Rocks Beach, FL (day off)

Today I was a total beach bum…. I woke up, put on my swimsuit and walked along the ocean for a half a mile or so… I got back and Ashton flagged me down at the beach.. time for lunch.  We headed into town and had lunch at Crabby Bill’s seafood… I got a great BBQ chicken sandwich…  we headed back to the house… back in the swimsuit and laying out… Went to the water and swam and talk with Ashton’s mom for a good hour and a half..  She’s great.

Having gotten enough sun for the day I came back to the beach house and showered up and changed.. We hung around the house tonight… watched some Friends and talked around the living room… got some takeout from another local place which was great as well.

We watched ‘what about brian’ and the news before i turned in… I notice the effects of the sun starting to show in the form of a pinkish hue of my body.

I talked to Jenny again tonight… I was quiet but just so glad to hear her on the other line.  We leave tomorrow for Gainesville and then heading up the coast.
