August 6, 2006We woke up at 10ish in the AM and got ready to head out.. we spent the day in Detroit. First we did the Detroit River Walk and then into the Renaissance Center. We then hopped on the people mover and took it around the city and then back to the Hard Rock Cafe where we had lunch.
We then made our way to W. Grand Blvd. in Detroit and visited the Motown Museum where Motown Records was founded and run until 1972. It was so awesome to be in a place so rich with musical history. I had such a great time.
We made our way back home to Jenny’s house for a few and then headed over to Buddy’s Pizza for an incredible dinner. we then came back home where I spent the past 5 hours or so catchin up on 1 month of blogs. and I’m officially caught up and officially TIRED.. So I’m going to bed now…
We’re going to the zoo tomorrow!
