I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what to do with my life post-tour.  I know 2 things.. It will involve my lovely girlfriend whom I lucked out to have had enter my life. My post-tour life will also involve music.  For the first time in a while, I put on the headphones and listened to some music on the iPod and it was great and got me thinking more and more about my music.

Back in December, I recorded a song called “Letting Go” that I wrote and it really got me itching to keep going with my songwriting and recording.

Today, I decided to begin the process of writing an album which I plan to start recording later this year in Michigan.

I started working on another new song.. called “Calendar Year.”  So stay tuned after the tour for plenty of recording and writing updates!

We rolled into New York City at 4pm and loaded into Mo Pitkin’s in the East Village.  I really love the atmosphere and culture of NYC.  We loaded into the club and I made a beeline for Ray’s Pizza.  It’s a MUST have for me every time I’m in the city and they never disappoint. Made the trek there with Devin who got some food at Katz’s.  We played a nice set.

We didn’t stay in the city tonight, so we were gone by 10pm.. It would’ve been nice to have a night in NYC… but I enjoyed the time I had.  We hit the road and stopped for the night in Connecticut.
