I slept in my bed last night.. it’s so great to be in MI… we left around 3:30 for Chicago… Got into into town around 7:30 and loaded in to Uncommon Ground.
Jenny, her mom, and sister came all the way out from MI to hang out and see the show.
Also, on top of that, I had quite a few friends come out… namely Doug Corella, Melissa Libbs, Stephanie, & Victoria… so great to see many friends out.
I’ve known Doug since 1994 when he was my percussion instructor in Marching band… So young and innocent I was then… since then he and his band The Verve Pipe have had huge success, toured the world and back… and he remains such a great guy and friend! Thanks to all of you who came to hang and support!
by the way… food at Uncommon Ground is INCREDIBLE!
We had such a good time tonight and a fun night at an incredible room to end the tour.
Jenny & I retired to our hotel.. tired and ready to crash… I’m excited for the week off!!
