What can I say.. the Mighty Metallica does it again! We are approaching 12 times seeing this band live for me, dating back to the Load tour of 1997 and they still put on one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.
I took the day off work to wait in line with some fellow fans as I had general admission floor and wanted to be close and it paid off! This stage was in the round with points on each corner of the long rectangle of a stage. I managed to get 1 person from the rail on one corner where James, Kirk, and Rob spent a considerable amount of time. I was only about 20 feet from Lars drums as well. High energy and a great vibe. Highlight for me was seeing “Holier Than Thou” from 1991’s ‘The Black Album’ live. What a night!
