09/06/06 – Tour Update – State College, PA

Headed out of Charlottesville and finally got some grub at Cracker Barrel… I needed it bad..  today we made our way thru the mountains to State College (home of Penn State) and had a gig at Abba Java..   We were first of a 4 band bill which included our good friends Johnny Action Figure.  A great turn out and we sold some records… Having a great time on the road and missing my girl terribly at the same time…  I can’t wait to see her.. (our birthdays are coming up… hers is 9/14 and mine 9/24).

Had some great pizza at a local place here and headed out to the Days Inn. Their wireless access is not working so I’m typing this from their “internet center” in the lobby.  I tell ya… we lucked out with a great group of players and guys on this tour..  Micah, Bret, and Devin are making even more fun for Ashton & I and it’s a thrill to see what they bring to the table every night…   I have some cold pizza waiting for me, so I’m gonna grab a drink and head back to my room!  More tomorrow.. and of course, set list below…
