06/15/06 – Clarkston / Madison Heights, MI

I met up with Jenny and we headed to the DTE Energy Music Theater.. She had 2 3rd row (center) tickets for the Rob Thomas / Jewel / Toby Lightman concert.

I had not seen either Rob Thomas or Jewel before so it was exciting to see them for the first time.. I was quite impressed with both Jewel and her band.

Rob Thomas sings his ass off.  Though I prefer Matchbox 20 to Rob’s solo work, I was still really impressed and had such a good time with Jenny… It was just what I needed.

Oh and I think I spotted an old classmate of mine from high school (whom is on my friends list) as we pulled into the parking lot.
